I'm watching the second season of Humans and not really enjoying it as much as the first season yet. I think it was the family dynamic with Anita (Mia) as the household synth that was the draw for me and now that the synths are out on their own, it's not engaging me as much.

We went back to our Netflix roots last night and I started watching the Santa Clarita Diet with Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant. It is absolutely gross and disgusting and absolutely hysterical.

I saw it this morning. great episode dark sister. Also, When We Rise started tonight on ABC Anyone who has read And The Bank Played ON, by Randy Shilts will know the name Cleve Jones. "As Cleve Jones (Guy Pearce) tells the young man who’s interviewing him in 2006, “Each generation has its own epic confrontation that it must face.” Cleve’s grandparents had stories of World War I, his mother had stories of World War II — and as Cleve’s generation faced issues like the black civil rights movement, the women’s movement, and Vietnam, Cleve’s own “epic confrontation” eventually became just as clear. “I knew what I had to do. Not as an individual but as part of my generation,” Cleve tells the interviewer. But he especially makes clear that it wasn’t just about what he had to do — after all, this miniseries is called When We Rise, not When I Rise. So When We Rise “Part I” gets right to things, as a cover of “I’d Love to Change the World” plays over images of raging against the machine (a machine that includes both hate crimes and the president of the United States).'..." link

I am still watching Legion and really enjoying it though I am baffled. : Hooked on 24 Legacy. That hour just flies by. I hope both are picked up for 2nd seasons. Love love love This is Us. So glad this was picked up for 2 more seasons. About to wrap up its 1st season. Major Crimes just started its winter season and Colony is still on my list. Santa Clarita Diet is waiting in the wings ... just don't the time at the moment.

I'm watching Planet Earth: Human Planet with John Hurt narrating. Focuses on people doing amazing things to survive. It is wonderful and even the cat is watching macaques stealing food from humans in India.

Riverdale is the only show I'm currently watching besides TWD. I'm loving it. I have read Archie comics forever and I love seeing the characters come to life on TV.

For me it's TWD, Stranger things and Game of Thrones. All other shows seem to follow the pattern that the first few seasons are GREAT and then the quality just tanks because interpersonal politics and money get in the way. I have a hard time getting attached now.

I like Riverdale too @honkeytonkwoman.
I agree most shows do fall into that trap and then end up limping along for far too long.
The nature documentaries I am watching these days are very calming and aw-inspiring- this fisherman for instance, just to get one meal for his family.

Hanging in there with Legion. Still bewildered. :-S
"Colony" is still one of my faves.
Looking forward to "Better Call Saul" and my guilty pleasure "Prison Break".

Enjoying seeing our walking dead alum Corey Hawkins on 24. Sure it's the same formula as the old show, but almost all new characters and some good acting including Corey. You have to suspend your disbelief for alot of it, of course.

I cannot believe how quickly the hour flies. Good acting all around for the most part. I suspend belief for most of what I watch - I care more about being entertained. Another show I like - "Outsiders" on WGN America. Talk about suspending one's belief!!! :o

I;m watching SUndance's Hap and Leonard season 2- I missed season 1, but James Purefoy and Michale Kenneth Williams (Omar little, Chalky on BE) are incredible. each episode breaks my heart and makes me laugh.
The Expanse season 2 is unbelievable- the CGI budget alone must be ten times that of TWD and it is phenomenal! The writing is fantastic and the cast very talented. No clunkers there from Hugh Dillon (FLash point) to Chad Coleman to Thomas Jane.

I finished binging 13 Reasons Why on Netflix. I liked the show overall, but I think they dragged it out a bit too much.
