I caught up with AHS which is pretty enjoyable this season and it's nice Murphy gave Angela Bassett something to do this season

Started watching "The Young Pope" with June law and Diane keaten. Liking it so far. It's very different to other shows were religion is the main subject.

This show is NOT highbrow...but it makes me laugh when I am running on a treadmill at the athletic club and that counts for something. Stan Against Evil is silly and has some pretty funny moments.

In the UK we should be getting episode 4 this week.

I watched "Call the Midwives" on Netflix post election. It got me through the blues. I just finished "Containment" on Netflix. I really liked it. Set in Atlanta and a deadly plague hits. No zombies. Interesting characters.

I'm binging on Shameless (US). I'm several seasons behind. I've heard that the current season might be disappointing but I'm enjoying the past seasons.

At least it's not January 2018 (I.e. when Westworld finally returns)? I saw the quote notification and half expected to hear that I should fill that free time with GoT (which I actually am contemplating...who knows, I may make it through another two episodes by the time Feb/March roll around lol) Yeah, I'd die if I had to wait that long. That's insane.

Well, gumby713 , you could fill your time with TWD... Though I suggest seasons 1 - 3 and limited season 4 and 5 engagements unless you've developed a masochistic streak. Alternatively, you could finish GoT (thanks for reminding me... where are you at with that, btw?) or discover the excellence of Westworld, particularly the later eps overall and the earlier ones focused on Maeve.

Yeah, I've been contemplating Westworld too. As for GoT, uhhhhh....totally not, like, early s2 or something...

Watching the Doctor Who marathon wich started this morning, covering the 10th Doctor and runs right up until the Christmas Special, airin Sunday night at 9 pm Eastern time. Love seeing my favorite characters and revisiting wonderfully written episodes- 'Blink", 'Tooth and Claw' 'The Girl In the Fireplace'. Great to wrap presents and pack shipping boxes while watching in the background.

I'm watching Doctor Who marathon right now- the David Morrissey episode is on and he plays a doctor similar to David Tennant's Tenth Doctorm with Tennant, I think Morrissey's abilities to play comedy are often underrated as this episode pokes fun at itself and he does a superb job. He and David Tennant are mimicking each's other right down to voice intonations, so this is one of my favorite Christmas Specials. It is a take o A Christmas Carol.

I'm watching Dead Set, a British miniseries. I'm on episode 4 of 5 and I love it.
Dead Set is a critically acclaimed BAFTA-nominated British television horror series created by Charlie Brooker. The show takes place primarily on the set of a fictional series of the real television show Big Brother. The five episodes, aired over five consecutive nights, chronicle a zombie outbreak that strands the housemates and production staff inside the Big Brother House, which quickly becomes a shelter from the undead.

Just started watched The OA on Netfilx and i'm on episode 4, So far i'm liking it. But Brit Marling role as Praire is very similar to her other roles. I find the other characters around her character more interesting.

Making a Murderer, OMG I've been sleeping on this docuseries but holy shit it blew my mind. I don't know if Steve is innocent or guilty, but he definitely deserves a new trial. And Brendan (except for Teresa) is the biggest victim of all.

Next is OA on Netflix.

I have just started Jessica Jones and I reeeeeally love it. For a show set in the Marvel universe, it is surprisingly not "comicky", if that makes any sense. Not over-the-top. Apart from the {Spoiler} mind control from Kilgrave , the super powers are almost like an afterthought.
