I agree on all the points, but I really don't see how having the characters swear would actually add anything to the show the dialogue is already crap.
At this moment I think TWD is now going to continue its downward spiral.

This article is just perfect. 1000% accurate. A masterpiece. I had to laugh out loud multiple times.

I don't agree with the swearing because I having the characters curse or not curse isn't the problem. The rotten dialogue won't be helped by adding cursing. I did agree with most of this though.

I found this passage especially insightful:
"Thrones, on the other hand, once it was freed from the constraints of George RR Martin's source material in season 6, immediately hit the gas. Sansa and Jon reunited. They defeated Ramsay. Arya returned to Westeros. Daenerys invaded. Every episode, it felt, changed the layout of the chessboard in a major way."
Of course, you have to have writers who can pen brilliant material, not cheap gimmicks like "Dumpstergate".

I agree with this article, but like others said I don't think swearing is an issue they need to work on.
The biggest thing I wish they would do like Thrones does is focus on multiple locations in one episode. It's not that hard, not everything needs to be a bottle episode.

Hey look, I haven't watched GOT, but even I saw the value in these suggestions. For example, I have nothing against Tara, but she did not require a full bottle episode. The character is not that interesting and AM is not a strong enough actress. Another great point made was about showing several points of view/locations within each episode. They need to learn how to mix it up. Why can't they hire some quality writers with proven track records? I was always taught garbage in, garbage out...
