I know so far that Travis/Madison is canon, but hasn't gotten a ton of traction in the fandom yet. Which could be attributed to how young the fandom is so far and how a vast majority of fans seem to be there for Alicia due to the actor's stint in the "100" but is anyone else on this dingy with me? I like their dynamic. It is refreshingly different from Lori/Rick, but you are dealing with a similar, adult relationship.
Ship names? Travison? Madvis?

I actually dislike this coupling. I prefer when the characters are away from each like they were in 2b. Travis for me works better away from Madison.

I love Travie. I hope we see much more graphic nudity sexy times in season 3, now that they're reunited!

Madison seemed more centered and likeable when she was with Strand. Maybe he brought out her sense of humor and honesty, which humanized her. With Travis she always acted like a whining shrew. Their entire relationship appeared dysfunctional. Travis appeared better matched emotionally with Liza. At least there was some chemistry there. I guess I just don't have high hopes for 'Travison'...

I totally agree on Madison and Strand, I found Madison likeable for the first time when she was getting drunk with Strand. By the next episode when she was put back in Alicia orbit and then Travis again. I was back to disliking the character. I never liked Travis until be moved out of Madison shadow. I enjoyed his arc with Chris way from Madison even though it ended devastatingly. My fingers are crossed that Madison and Travis are heading for splitville in season 3.

I dont like Madison. Her and Travis make no sense. I don't like them as a couple. I did like Madison in her scenes with Strand and Travis alone. I haven't seen the last couple of eps though. I love Cliff Curtis though.

Maybe it is a generational thing. My favorite characters are all older: Daniel, Victor, Ofelia. I'm also liking crazy, murderous Travis much more than indecisive wimpy Travis, lol! I'm willing to see how Madison and Travis interact in season 3. Even though they were not my favorite couple who knows, I might start shipping them.

I actually liked them okay as a couple because they were a little more realistic than most TV couples. They basically loved and supported each other but had differences, disagreements and weren't all over each other with PDAs all the time. That's how most real life couples I know roll. Moot point now.

Moot point now. @greaterpursit, I, too, liked that they squabbled, supported one another and got irritated over little things, just like any other couple. I wish we had been given a chance to see more of them working together as they went through changes, beyond, Travis popping up at the last minute at the hotel in season 2. Seems such a shame that the biggest thing about their stable relationship is that the impact of Travis' loss will be bigger than the actual relationship. Too bad. I think FTWD deliberately skewed more towards younger fans and wanted to avoid killing off a man younger character beyond Chris. I think losing Madison, or Alicia or Nick would have made for a more interesting story.
