9 pm Sunday, September 10, 2017- a change from previous Saturday night timeslot. Oh great! Another Sunday show! I don't know why, but all the shows I watched always end up on Sundays. Anyhoo... Yay! Outlander will be back soon! And if I'm lucky, it won't air on Sundays in Canada, since it airs on a different channel. *crossing my fingers*

The move from Saturday to Sunday kills me too sonia! I think it is an ad-rate move since Sundays are considered premium tv night for dramas. Fingers crossed for you.

...I think it is an ad-rate move since Sundays are considered premium tv night for dramas. Fingers crossed for you. When did that happen anyway? I remember when Thursday as the big night on TV. Now, they seem to put all the shows on Sundays. One year, I had nine shows on Sundays! I watched three live, recorded three others and I had to order the cable package that gives me the Seattle broadcast of the Big Four American networks,, because that local broadcast is three hours from where I am on the East Coast, so I could watch/record the three other shows starting at 11 pm my time/8 pm Seattle time. lol

I just checked online, and the show does not air on the same channel anymore in Canada. I watched it on Netflix this Spring, but I remember seeing it on A&E Canada last fall. Turns out it will now air on W... on Sundays also, starting Sept. 10, just like in the States. Good thing I checked. So off I go adding W to my cable channels...

Okay guys! I have seen episodes here and there over the last two seasons but never the full story, seasons one and two, so I decided to binge it all during the last week or so and I am officially obsessed with this show!! I cannot wait for next Sunday night and season 3 to start! I have a brand new crush on Jamie Fraser(Sam Heugan), good Lord, that is one beautiful man, it's crazy?!
Still trying to figure out how to schedule next Sunday night now with the "TWD/Talking Dead special" on at the same time as "Outlander" then FTWD coming back on? I've got to get my priorities worked out somehow?

I binge-watched it a few months ago. Watching only one episode a week and going through hiatuses will be excruciating.

Please read the books when you can urdeadtome, you get so much more than on the show and that is more pure awesome. I know Diana Gabaldon and have met her many times, done writing workshops with her and she is Claire to life! During Mad Men's last season, I had 5 Sunday night shows to watch and never got bed before 3 am ugh. Come October there will be very hard choices to make, lol. I do have some photos for the season and first episode I will be posting in this area tomorrow.

The books are fantastic purplerage and I'm glad you are reading it. Even thought I normally do not Live View with shows I watch, I do want to set up live viewing and be here for Outlander, if anyone is interested in that? More info "http://ew.com/tv/2017/09/05/outlander-11-things-we-learned-caitriona-balfe-sam-heughan/" "“They (the characters) surprise us,” agrees Heughan. “This season has been very different and it’s been amazing to discover who Jamie was or is without Claire. Every time we get presented a new scenario by the writers or it’s in the book, there’s always a slight struggle in terms of us going, Would I do that? Or would they do that? You have to find a place where you ultimately allow the character to do what they would do and you have to justify it... ...When they read Diana Gabaldon’s books now, they don’t picture one another in the roles “No, they’re different people in my head,” says Balfe. Adds Heughan of his costar’s character, “She’s a bit more mouthy in the book, isn’t she?”..."

I've watched a bunch of press interviews with them this week too and am so hyped up about this new season! I think this show is just a beautiful and amazing story. I haven't read the books but I'm seriously considering it right now. I'm just going to be adding this to the short list of shows that I have to patiently wait for week to week, but now that GOT is on hiatus, Bates Motel is over and TWD hasn't started back yet, Outlander will have my full attention for the next 5 or 6 weeks! (Well, FTWD and American Horror Story will be too but this will be taking over the top spot for now!)

The books are always so much more detailed for sure, I think I could totally get lost in them and I'd never get anything accomplished once I start on them though?! That is really cool that you know and have worked with Diana Gabaldon! She seems like a very strong and intuitive type of writer from the interviews I've seen with her? That's really interesting. I know what you mean about juggling shows on the same night! Why now do they insist on putting all the great stuff on Sunday nights?! I was saying that now that GOT is finished for the year and TWD isn't back yet, I'll only have this and FTWD taking up Sunday nights, (well, Insecure too but when is the finale? Probably soon right?) all my other shows are scattered throughout the week.

Just watched it, was so good Hey girl! Nice to see you here! I've enjoyed it too, but I can't wait for Claire and Jamie to be reunited. I hope that they don't make us wait until the mid-season finale. On a good note... only six more days until the next one!

Only 4 days left...I was impressed with how well the show did the back and forth between Jamie and Claire timelines.
