Season 1 I was pretty Team Matt over Team Karen. Season 2 totally switched that.

Season 1 I was pretty Team Matt over Team Karen. Season 2 totally switched that. I like Karen, but I hated her job situation in S2. She's essentially given these high level jobs with no experience and I found it so hard to get past. A secretary wouldn't sit 2nd or 3rd chair in a trial. A random would not be given a corner office and access to all that material at the newspaper.

It's not her experience, and she isn't a random; she's Matt's and Foggy's Karen, and then Ben's Karen, and becomes Mitchell's Karen, and Frank's Karen. Every one is about the personal relationship she makes with those people, and they all project their own shit onto her. She is useful for them. I pretty much imagine the rest of the of the writers at the paper like, hating her lol, because obviously it's ridiculous she'd get that job. Plus, it's something DC does too - the non-experienced chick gets the writer's job because she writes about the superhero(es) she personally knows.
