I think this is the right place to post this? ----------------- "If you thought The Walking Dead's Lennie James deserved a little more screen time this season, then you're in luck: because he'll be getting A LOT of airtime in a new thriller over on Sky Atlantic. Gone, written and created by Lennie himself, follows the story of Nelson Rowe, who must defend himself when accused of a terrible crime he did not commit. The series will be directed by BAFTA winner Nick Murphy and will also star Doctor Foster's Suranne Jones and Taboo star Stephen Graham - and we can't ruddy wait. While Lennie tackles the role of the troubled and charming Nelly, Suranne will play Clare, who shared a 'summer of love' with Nelly 13 years ago. The series will be set on a south east London housing estate and is described as "the story of a man facing the stark and painful reality that the very worst thing happening to someone he loves could be the best thing that has ever happened to him"." Link----------------------- Given the unconfirmed tidbit about Morgan dying... I'm starting to worry. I hated Morgan's arc in S6, but I love LJ and I've just started to warm uup to Morgan again and besides, I think it's too early to kill him off. They made such a big deal out of his return and after waiting 5 seasons for the Great Morgan from the pilot to return, his return hasn't felt satisfying at all nor does it feel complete. This sets LJ's latest interview in perspective... I wonder if he asked to be killed off. As Sonequa perhaps did. edit: How would two characters dying (both black, I noticed) make the finale/7B "very, very, very, very, very" different from 7A/the premiere? If they both asked to be killed off, I suppose Gimple had no choice. There's a possibility he could die early S8, but considering that unconfirmed spoiler about Morgan being the 2nd death in the finale... If this is his death sentence that is.

It doesn't say if it's just a mini series or an actual show. But this is definitely something to keep an eye on. Thanks for sharing, AlienSoul

Yoda isn't going anywhere..SG loves Yoda / LJ to much to kill the character. That's why I have now accepted that Yoda will be around for along time. As this series is british, it will just be a mini series. It won't clash with his role on TWD. and if it does SG would happily work around LJ schedule like he did last time. AlienSoul SMG didn’t ask for Sasha to be killed off. SG just decided to kill sasha because he made her into the shows version of Holly. (puke)

Thaks for posting this for us AlienSoul. We all appreciate whatever members choose to share and this is interesting news to track. We know Lennie James had bad Bladerunner and has also been committed to his Ernest Dickerson project Double Play which is released January 28, 2017 via the Rotterdam Film Festival. So he has been busy when not filming TWD and remains in demand for projects. I'm not going to assume he is leaving the show in season 7 because we do not yet have enough info to confirm that from filming or other spoilers. To me, it makes more sense that he would be saved for a major AOW death, perhaps in 8.8 or 8.16. But time will tell us what happens to Morgan and when. A good read and also interesting to me that Lennie is suddenly getting all these interviews as has not happened since he first rejoined the show.

I hope they don't kill him off. Maybe they can have him disappear for a few days (two seasons on TWD)

on one hand I am happy for Lennie, he is too good of an actor to be wasted like he has been on twd. I've mentioned it before, but if you haven't watched him in any of his other roles, you really should. On the other hand, the part that likes Morgan ( loves him at times... wants to kick him at other times) will be sad that he may be leaving.
