About a month ago, the official TSA Instagram posted a photo of a confiscated carry-on item they took from a fan of The Walking Dead. The passenger had tried to bring a replica of Negan’s bat Lucille onto his flight in Atlanta. “This replica of @amcthewalkingdead’s “Lucille” was discovered recently in a carry-on bag at Atlanta (ATL). The barbed wire is actually made from rubber and the blood is fake (we hope). However, baseball bats are prohibited from carry-on bags and must be packed in checked luggage. #TWD #Negan We’re just glad Lucille wasn’t thirsty,” the post wrote. As for Game of Thrones, one fan thought they could get away with bringing a bladed finger weapon onto their flight without checking it. “We’re pretty sure this isn’t a letter opener. A bladed dragon claw perhaps??? Whatever it is, it should be packed in checked baggage. It was discovered in a carry-on bag at Atlanta (ATL).” Other fandoms were also guilty of overlooking TSA’s rules for carry-on items.
