I never seen Breaking Bad before. My grandson gave me the DVDs for S2, S3 and S4 (somebody borrowed his S1 and never gave it back) but I never watched them, so I'm watching S1 now on AMC, so I can then watch the others.
Pretty decent show so far...

Been watching "Breaking Bad" all day! I really wish I had followed this show when it first started, it's so amazing! I mean I've seen the first couple of seasons in re-runs and marathons here and there but I really didn't start following it closely until like the 3rd season (after I'd become more familiar with AMC from becoming addicted to TWD when it started in 2010)?! I was missing out on another great show and didn't know it!

Like webergal and @urdeadto me, I never watched the series when it was on, but only came to it afterwards. 5 episodes at a time on cable monthly, prevented me from binge watching so I am giving it a go as I putter around the house. I'm also looking forward to HUMANS and even Into The Badlands which is not a bad show, but which suffered from AMC shoving it down the throats of viewers so aggressively last year. I do plan to give season 2 a go.

I've not seen HUMANS - may try to catch that one.
I really like Breaking Bad - I've seen all the seasons a few times.

Breaking Bad was pretty amazing. I watched every episode with the exception of one where I had heard about the violence and knew I wouldn't be able to swallow it (that is sort of a pun if you are looking for a spoiler). I kept expecting the last season to not be able to deliver... and it did.
I haven't watched any of the reruns and I don't expect I will. I think it was just too intense and sad of a story for me.

I felt the writing and direction for Breaking Bad was consistently outstanding, but found myself bored with Walter White. WW was simply a narcissistic man whose addiction seemed to be in being important, powerful and feared by others IMO. He hid that true self from the time he left Elliott and Gretchen's business until the prospect of death gave him nothing to lose. So I never felt any "magic" or marvel over Walter White.I know many viewers found him wonderful and fantastic, with no limits to what he might do, but I was not one of them. Vince Gilligan created a superb show though with great characters including Skylar whom I feel too many viewers called a bitch for simply trying to hold Walt accountable for his choices and protecting her son from knowing what his father really was. That is just my opinion and of course mileage varies.

"Humans" was excellent and I highly recommend it. "Into The Badlands" will surprise many with the high quality production values and its unique spin on post-apocalypse life. There's even a marathon of the original Twilight Zone. Not sure which channel.
