"...But it’s only now that we’re starting to see Ogg reap the true benefits of his talent in flesh and blood roles, and now he actually has supporting parts in two of the most talked-about shows on TV, which just so happen to be airing the exact same night. One would be Westworld, where Ogg plays Rebus, an android bandit in the theme park, but also The Walking Dead, where Ogg is Simon, one of Negan’s top lieutenants, and arguably it’s the larger part, based on what we’ve seen from both characters so far. Simon is a unique character because like Sasha and Beth and Daryl before him, he doesn’t exist in the comics. He’s a character that’s been created exclusively for the show, and frankly, Ogg is managing to create a better villain than what we’re seeing from the comic staples of Dwight and even Negan himself..." link

SO performance was one of the highlights of the episode. He plays Simon with the right mix of mence and humor. Compared to JDM who seems to be playing Negan as a one note cartoom character. Ogg should have been cast as Dwight as he has more acting ability than AA or even Negan. but AMC wanted a hot Negan. So Ogg didn't have a chance at the role.

I'd rather listen to Ogg monologues over JDM ones at this point.

Steve is fun to watch and totally gives off the whole love to hate him vibe. Too bad he couldn't play Negan.

He is definitely a creepier and scarier character. Negan is too cartoonish to me and over the top. Steven is doing a very good job, and I find him believable, which is what makes him scarier to me.
