I'm going to miss Abe for so many reasons but mostly because he was always just "what you see is what you get" and stuck to his code as a former soldier and as a man, without any excuses for it. He also, by far, provided the absolute best one liners and quotes on the show and delivered the most hysterical comments in the most serious way possible. He lived and died the same way, with bravery and honor and he will be sorely missed. RIP Abraham.

I agree urdeadtome and the one-liners often help lift the show in the right places. I think this one is my favorite

I missed it in the live view too, but caught it in Cudlitz's interview then found the gifs on Tumblr.

I'll miss Abe's one liners, too. One of my favorite LOL moments from this show was the one about the Bisquick.

Ok, I'll admit. I didn't like Abe, not one bit. But his death still hurt me to watch. I did like that he stared Negan straight in the eye during the first hits and how he had the last word.

I loved Abe and his crew from the first time saw them on the show.
He played his part to perfection ... his one liners, his determination to fulfill his mission. He was a flamboyant comic book character and therefore somewhat of a caricature in the show but I loved it.
Will miss him.
My favorite memory will be his final spoken scene with Eugene at the RV.

I love Michael Cudlitz's portrayal of Abraham, and I'm pissed at the writers for being denied more. The Talking Dead Abe montage omitted one of his best, most memed scenes. I'm so eager to see MC in his next gig, he's such a joy to watch, and so talented!

Michael Cudlitz, like Chad Coleman before him, could have handled additional and more difficult work on the show. I always liked how Abe could own his mistakes with grace. I loved the Abe-Glenn relationship.

Cudlitz was also such a gentleman in his interviews saying the real devastating loss was Glenn. He is a humble guy. I also appreciated his coming clean, I believe he was the first one, just to admit that they filmed the death scenes last year and the cast all knew and lied. That and his keeping his hair red and even showing up on set once shows what a team player he really was and you have to really respect that. His one liners will be missed for sure.

Abe went out like a boss. Plain and simple.
I'm gonna miss my fix of those one-liners.

I've been so caught up about Glenn I forgot to visit Abe's topic!
While I didn't like the love triangle that happened towards the end of last season. Abe was a good character. He was consistently funny and Cudlitz is a great actor. I'll miss Big Red as well.
