Forbes piece:I really hate the copyright rule because the rest of the article raises compelling points about Alejandro and the possibility on FTWD, not ever explored on TWD, that there might be a cure or people who are immune.
"...And yet, as we are reaching the end of season two, t here is one mystery that Fear the Walking Dead has put forth that could potentially have huge implications for the show as a whole. That would be Alejandro, the leader of Nick’s little town in Tjiuana, a pharmacist turned religious leader who believes that the dead will cleanse the world and make it new.. He claims that he was bitten by a walker and survived. He has the giant bite-shaped chunk missing out of his shoulder to prove it. He has Luciana backing up his story to say that she was there when it happened. He tells Nick how he waited around to die, and he simply didn’t, and that seems to have helped him along with his unquestioning belief that this is all God’s plan. Obviously, if this story is true, it has huge implications for the world of The Walking Dead. We have never seen anyone survive being bitten. If you are, you get essentially “the zombie disease” which will inevitably kill you, then reanimate you. If Alejandro really was bitten and didn’t die/turn, that implies that there could be some sort of possible cure. Figuring out what makes Alejandro immune might be key in solving the entire crises. At this point, I’m wondering that if he died, if he would reanimate like everyone else, or if that wouldn’t happen either. .." link
