Stephen King’s 1992 novel “Gerald’s Game” headed for Netflix adaptation cultureshock.bangordailynews.com/2016/09/14/small-screen/stephen-kings-1992-novel-geralds-game-headed-for-netflix-adaptation/Wow! This was a very dark novel. TBH, I don't know well this will translate. Here' a snippet regarding the book's theme. “Gerald’s Game” is one of the more disturbing of King’s already disturbing body of work — not to give too much away, but the premise revolves around a woman, handcuffed to a bed in a remote cabin in the woods, with her very recently deceased husband on top of her, slowly going crazy as she knows that no one else knows she’s there. It sounds challenging to adapt into a movie, but as Flanagan said in his interview, it’s a challenge he’s game for.

I'll reread the book before it is released.
Seems to me a lot of the story was told in flashbacks and Jessie's thought processes.
