"Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead comes back this November with an all new season and storyline called “A New Frontier.” The plot does jump a few years into the future, n ow showing Clementine as a teenager along side Javier, another playable character this season. Everyone can expect the game to keep throwing those moral decisions into the game, which most actions are unspeakable but necessity to live in the cruel world of The Walking Dead. “Years later, meeting her for the first time, Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his — both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society’s collapse,” Boyle said at PAX West conference. As of right now there is no set date, but Telltale has said that third installment of the game will be available this November for consoles, mobile devices, and PC." Teaser video link

"The story is set four years after the events of the last season and we know for sure that Clementine will be back. What kinds of things could be going on? We can't be sure about much—there are a lot of things we don't know, but there are a few things about which we can make a pretty educated guess ...Because of the way that #Telltale's games tend to work, it's reasonable to assume that the choice to be made at the end of Season 2 has no bearing on the game beyond the opening and, perhaps, may only affect the type of person Clementine becomes. If the surviving character continues to exist beyond the opening, they will most likely be gone by the end of the episode. Anything else would have Telltale making what is essentially two different games in one and that could get messy..." link

God dammit...
I wanted S3 with Kenny, Clem and AJ taking on the ZA. I guess this also means no revenge on Arvo, Bonnie, Mike, etc.
Still looking forward hugely to this game though.

I love seeing Clem grow up I have to admit that *extremely unpopular opinion* I wasn't a fan of the second game, but I'll get this one. Looks good

I love seeing Clem grow up I have to admit that *extremely unpopular opinion* I wasn't a fan of the second game, but I'll get this one. Looks good Clem looked so badass now. And such a hardened survivor. I was the same way with Season Two. As Christa and Omid came at basically the end of S1 and carried on into S2, I didn't have the same connection with them as like with Chuck, Kenny, etc. And when S2 rolled round The Cabin Group were so antagonistic towards Clem (I know, good reason with Carver on their tail) it took a while to adjust to them (few episodes even). That said, I started playing S3, forcing myself to have an open mind. I liked Javier, didn't really take to Kate, but liked the kids. Though hope we get Clem's pov soon. Hope you enjoy it when you get around to it {Spoiler} What did they do to Kenny! That nearly killed me to watch that Hoping AJ is safe though. Here was my choices: Ripley It would make sense. S1 and 2 both had November releases (and epidoes released mostly each month) but S3 comes on a Dec with 2/5 already available.

Just finished episode 2. I'm liking the story but: I sort've feel cheated out when it comes to Clementine. I like Javier but I don't feel he's earned to be the main character in this game. I feel Clementine should be.
She feels like a side character here....she IS a side character. So far there's been 2 small glimpses into the skipped few years of what she's done. Just given the stranger treatment. She's a beloved veteran character yet you're given the option to treat her like crap at times. Which of course, judging by the final results barely anyone are.
It's getting a little frustrating; like thinking 'okay, but when's the game starting', constantly playing as Javier and getting small teases of Clem's journey. I wanna play as Clem dammit!! I don't wanna be on the other side of the fence making decisions for her character. Hopefully in a future episode. first episode it was alright, second ep, it's starting to wear thin.
my choices Jesus becomes a character in this episode. Which has impoved my impressions alot. Nice to see a famillar character
