It was supposed to be AMC's new edgy drama- powerful cast and premise. Now "Feed The Beast" is history. Sexual Chocolate, dark sister
"It's one-and-done for AMC's Feed the Beast. The cable network has opted to cancel the drama after one season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. "We have great respect and admiration for the entire team associated with Feed the Beast, starting with [showrunner] Clyde Phillips, [stars] David Schwimmer, Jim Sturgess and our studio partner, Lionsgate. We are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with them and appreciative of their talents, dedication and care. Unfortunately, the show simply didn’t achieve the results needed to move forward with a second season," AMC said in a statement. The drama, picked up straight to series last year, revolved around Tommy (Schwimmer) and Dion (Sturgess), close friends who open up a restaurant but naturally run into trouble. The series opened to poor reviews (THR chief TV critic Tim Goodman said to "send it back to the kitchen") and dismal ratings. I can't say I was surprised by this. IIRC, Schwimmer was the main "known" actor in this and I don't think he has the wide appeal to carry a show.

I didn't even know this show was on AMC. Besides the walking dead, and even that is hanging on by a thread, I don't tune into the channel. Maybe AMC should start cleaning house at the highest level and bring in people who know what they're doing.

I wouldn't call double digit millions watching "hanging on by a thread", but yeah, TWD sure could use an infusion of new blood to keep the high ratings going and AMC needs to find some decent material to fill their schedule.

Ratings have dropped considerably since arriving to the ASZ. Reviews are sliding and general fandom are being critical as to how boring the slow-paced bottle episodes are.

No, I was referring to me as the one hanging on by a thread.
