"The war is almost over for AMC's Turn. The cable network has renewed its Revolutionary War drama for a fourth and final season. The 10-episode final batch will return in 2017. Producer and showrunner Craig Silverstein will remain in business with AMC with a new two-year overall deal where he'll develop and produce new projects for the cabler... ...The decision to wrap the series comes after AMC this past weekend aired the series finale of fellow period drama Hell on Wheels. The cabler's scripted roster consists of The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Halt & Catch Fire, Better Call Saul, Into the Badlands, Humans, Preacher and Feed the Beast, the latter of which awaits word on its future...." link
So new show Feed the Beast is possibly getting a cancellation, He'll on Wherls ended, Ride With Norman Reedus is awaiting announcement of either a second season or other. Preacher is a hit! Better Call Saul & Humans are licensed through AMC but not owned by the network. New hits need to replace expiring ones. Silverstein has a two-year deal to develop projects, as does Chris Hardwick. I wonder how many aftershows we'll see? "Into the Badlands" would be a great candidate for an aftershow actually. Post-apocalyptic setting, great martial arts & stunts, diverse cast.

I'm surprised Turn is still going at it, frankly. I tried watching the first season and gave up after two episodes, despite really liking Jamie Bell. I'm happy it went on for a bit though, for him.

I tried hard because I love Burn Gorman (Torchwood, GOT etc) but I just could not watch it. I should have added it to my Shows I Walked Away From list. AMC needs these 2-ear deals to pay off and bring more hot shows. They are riding the comic book shows wave right now, but what will be next I wonder?
