Game of Thrones premiered on week 3, that definitely would have caused some of the drop no doubt. Sorry, I do like FTWD, but IMHO it does not compare to GOT. I watch GOT live and record FTWD for later. FTWD also started out slowly this year which may have caused some loss of viewers, I know someone who stopped watching for just that reason.

There are quite a few friends and family at my end that stopped watching it after season 1 even though I've told them that season 2 has a different feel and dynamic with it being on the boat, the ocean, pirates, etc.

Lots of communities across the US no longer have AMC offered in their areas ( the state of AK doesn't have it available through any of the cable/dish places) I really do think GoT is causing quiet a bit of the bleed off of viewers, as much as I like FTWD, I have to agree with walkingdeadrules, if given the option, I will take GoT over FTWD for live viewing.

I just switched over to live-watching FTWD and Talking Fear, then catching a later viewing of GOT.
The last two episodes of FTWD have been better, but it still has some room to grow IMO. One of the issues may be that the emphasis on the teen characters of Ofelia, Nick, Alicia and Chris, I find less interesting than a show with a 50-50 mix of adults to teens/children. I do find Arya and the Stark children very interesting though.
GOT is leading the time period though and I'm enjoying those episodes a great deal more I admit. In 'Oathbreaker' I was surprised, delighted, shocked and heartbroken all within the period of under an hour, and FTWD has not managed that feat for me yet.
