Actor Victor Colman Domingo, who plays Mr. Strand in Fear The Walking Dead, recently opened up to Comicbook.com regarding what the ambiguous character will use as his main weapon. Strand is arguably the most captivating character in Fear The Walking Dead. He and Daniel Salazar seem to be the most equipped for the the cutthroat nature of the new world. While the two don’t trust each other currently, they could very well emerge as leaders of the group, as well as the two who are willing to kill other people in order to ensure their continued survival. Victor Strand has always been one of my favorites! I have to admit, I defended him against those who immediately assumed that a well-dressed, well-spoken, apparently wealthy Black man must be a drug smuggler. I hope there's more to him than just glib manipulation and hustling. He's still a fascinating character, though, and I can see him having the most memorable lines of all the cast.

The only character I like as much as Strand is Daniel. I can see what Coleman Domingo is saying. It's his words and how he uses them. He is extremely charismatic and manipulative. It's as he said, he could sell anything. I agree 100% with that line. He is definitely a high point of this show.

blackjack, even Colman Domingo says Strand still has fight in him, so I'm not ready to count him out just yet. I want to see what's underneath all of those layers of that 'onion'...

darkandstormy I've actually kind of changed my mind and have pretty much given up on Strand. He had so much potential too. I just feel like they've started to ruin him lately.

I never warmed up to Strand. He seemed a bit too much of a caricature at first. I've seen a lot of characters a lot like him. Even though he seems more "real" in recent episodes, can't say I'm really on board with him yet.
