Which actor would you like to see cast to play Ezekiel, leader, nay, "King" of the Kingdom? Ezekiel, along with Glenn, are my personal favorite characters from the comics. I'm incredibly psyched to see him on the show!
I'd love to see Blair Underwood (The Good Wife, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) cast as Ezekiel. Who do you think would rock the role?

reckon I don't know much about Ezekiel except that he's black and wears dreads but I wouldn't mind Blair Underwood joining the cast. For reasons.

Jason Momoa comes to mind.
Dave Fennoy is one of the voices in TWD game and he looks like I imagine Ezekiel would look.
Kevin Durand would be a surprise casting.
Harold Perrineau might look too young.

Female Ezekiel so Carol gets a female best friend..FINALLY... WHOOPI GOLDBERG  SO MUCH SASSSS <3 For a male Ezekiel, I'd have to go with either Idris Elba, and yah, i ship Caryl but if it means Carol can take on Michonne's arc and I can shallowly want Idris Elba to bang Carol..yes, I'm all for that *shallow as fuck!* or, Dave Fennoy, and due to his existing connection with RK and the TWD world, I wouldn't be surprised if he WAS cast. |

Michael Ealy and don't bother with the dreads. The Kingdom needs to be different from the comics. An intelligent thoughtful leader would be wonderful.

I want someone hot to play Ezekiel from what I have heard the character is boring as hell. So if he is hot then his hotness can distract from his boring self. And if Carol is stuck in the kindgom them some eye candy would be nice.

Is everyone convinced the show will cast an Ezekiel? If Morgan ends up at the kingdom, especially with lj's saying that Morgan is himself a leader (which is beyond ridiculous, given that the only person he had any impact on in Alexandria ended up hating herself more than ever... But this is Gimple land, so... Of course he's a leader), I'm a little doubtful that there will even be an Ezekiel -- or one who lasts longer than TV Holly, anyway. If a longer-staying Ezekiel is intended, I'm inclined toward the gender swap camp to allow for some much-deserved love and happiness for everyone's favourite ninja turtle Jedi guru amateur shrink.

I'd love to see another actor from "The Wire" join the cast as Ezekiel of in fact a male Ezekiel gets cast. Clarke Peters ( Lester Freamon The Wire, Treme etc) was fantastic as the Indian chief in Treme so would be fantastic in that role.  |
