Game of Thrones won three more Emmys tonight! Best Writing for Battle of the Bastards for D&D, Best Director for Sapochnik for Battle of the Basterds, and Best Drama Series.
Lena Headey was screwed out of an Emmy again by fucking Maggie Smith.

"...“It’s quite sad. It really feels like things are wrapping up and coming to an end,” Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, said about heading into the shorter Season 7. “People are hanging around Belfast a bit longer to be around each other and be in each other’s presence.” When reminded that there would be an eighth season, Turner dropped a cryptic message about the well-being of some of the main characters. “We’ve got one more season…well, not all of us.”... ..Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, said to expect more characters that haven’t spent much time together, like Sansa and Jon, to meet up in the final two seasons...." link

This is a fun quiz. I got Aemon Targaryen as my primary, followed by Joer Mormont and Maester Luwin. mygotcharacter.com/

I'm very happy about it too- she was politically savvy and understood the undercurrents of society and how to get around the rules to some degree, more than most characters did.

I can't argue Aemon, Joer or Maester Luwin though. Solid dudes and I was upset when they all died. Though I have to wonder, I said I'd eat my Night's Watch companion beyond the wall, I'm not sure which one of those would've done that. Maybe Joer?

haha! I thought about that one, but opted for carrying the body back. I had hoped for Arya or John Snow but I'm happy with who I got, all smart people.

I love GOT spoilers as much as TWD spoilers. Thank you for sharing these as I had not time working on the site to get GOT spoilers so was unspoiled last season which I hated.

And another update about Gendry's war hammer:
"UPDATED: Los Siete Reinos brings us a few more details from yesterday’s filming, which involved Tyrion, Davos and Gendry escaping two Gold Cloaks. Apparently, Davos does not attempt to bribe them with gold but with crabs that the smuggler promises are “aphrodisiac”. Of course he does. And of course it does not work, so Gendry has to whack them with his new warhammer, which we now know is marked by the House Baratheon stag sigil. If there was any doubt that Gendry had forged it himself, there is not anymore. Furthermore, Los Siete Reinos has learnt this episode is the fifth of the season, a few before the finale, and it is directed by Matt Shakman."

linkThis is the set leak to end all set leaks. (Not to mention the meeting we’ve all been waiting for.) According to photos and videos making their way around the interwebs, “Game of Thrones” fans should all prepare to witness Jon Snow and Daenarys Targaryen meet, face to face, in Season 7. YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT! During the Season 6 finale, we saw the Mother of Dragons and her boatload of ships make their way across the Narrow Sea to Westeros. There, of course, lives Jon Snow, who we recently discovered is a Targaryen himself. (R + L = J, y’all.) So, although we have to wait an awfully long time to see it all go down, we will finally get to watch Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke share a scene together. We don’t know if the meeting will be a warm family reunion or a chilly winter breeze, but we have high hopes for this partnership. Let’s not forget that George R. R. Martin’s book series is called A Song of Ice and Fire. It’s very possible that Jon and Dany will team up to defeat the White Walkers, leading to a battle of Fire vs. Ice. Oh, yeah!
