I'm okay with them merging Bejen and Coldhands essentially. It makes sense. The characters probably have similiar fates anyways.

Season 6 of Game of Thrones has taken fans beyond the events of George R.R. Martin‘s A Song of Ice and Fire novels and moved the characters towards the series’ endgame. But that conclusion could mean shorter seasons for the show. Veteran TV director Jack Bender was interviewed by Vanity Fair about the two episodes of Game of Thrones that he helmed this season. When asked if he would return for the seventh season, Bender replied, “I don’t know the answer to that They’re only doing seven [episodes], and they’ve got their regulars who have done it forever.” While that news is sure to disappoint some fans, it’s not entirely a surprise. Back in April, Game of Thrones co-showrunner David Benioff said “I think we’re down to our final 13 episodes after this season. We’re heading into the final lap. That’s the guess, though nothing is yet set in stone, but that’s what we’re looking at.” nerdist.com/game-of-thrones-director-confirms-shorter-season-7/

I was crushed they moved away from LSH- it would have been such a fantastic place to go and with a stark- even Rickon lol. I am excited by the upcoming "Battle of the Bastards" on Sunday reckon, I wasn't sure if you had seen this article yet? Or caught up on the episodes this season. "ar is coming—well, OK, technically speaking there are several wars a-comin’—to Westeros in the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones‘ sixth season, and we finally know what that’s going to look like for several of our favorite Northernmen (and women). Being touted as the biggest battle the show has ever done, Sunday’s “Battle of the Bastards” looks to be a bottle episode, focusing solely on the fight to regain Winterfell for House Stark. But by the looks of Ramsay Bolton’s army and dour disposition, this one won’t be so easy a fight to win for Jon Snow and Co. The new images posit the seemingly insurmountable for Snow, his Wildlings, and the other Northern folk—ahem, Lyanna Mormont—that join their cause against the men who just always be flayin’ (that’s ABF for short). In epic shots of Tormund Giantsbane (more like giantsBAE, amirite/I’m sorry?), Ser Davos, Jon, and even Ramsay, all we can really deduce is that this one’s going to be a real rollicker, sure to shoot us right in the heart and possibly/maybe kill someone we love deeply. But who do you think that’ll be? Our money’s on poor Rickon being one of the flayed men we’ve seen upon the battlefield—possibly/maybe Sansa Stark, too, since she sent that letter to Littlefinger and basically guaranteed a bungle is upon us. (SANSA I SWEAR IT IF YOU RUIN THIS FOR THE NORTH I WILL BE SO MAD …mostly at David Benioff and D.B. Weiss for building up your character so well, only to tear her down and ruin her. It’d be a real shitty move, not gonna lie.) Although we wouldn’t be surprised it Wun-Wun got taken down, or Davos for that matter. Just don’t kill Tormund—my heart may never recover. Honestly..." nerdist.com/prepare-for-the-bastard-battle-with-new-game-of-thrones-images/

Yeah, I would hate to see Tormund go! Or Devos. I have a feeling somebody we don't want to be taken out is well, inevitably going to be. As much as I don't want that to happen, but this is GOT. My bet is that before we finally see Ramsay die a hopefully brutal death, he's going to either somehow kill Sansa, or trade her for Rickon. Or Little Finger is going to pull some crap. I just don't see them really killing Jon again yet before we even find out the 100% truth of his parentage in the show (or him finding out for that matter).

I don't know about all of you, but I so DO NOT want GOT season to end after two more episodes. This show never ceases to amaze me with the twists, story telling and production values of the show. I wish it was longer, really enjoying it.

This weeks GoT was far fetched , in that Arya doing all that stuff with a gut wound...very unbelievable to me but glad shes coming home , best part was the ending and TG shes getting the hell out of bravous...i do wonder about LSH , i think Arya would be the perfict canadate.....and would tie into the story if shes near death and TH is at port when she arives and dies in his arms and he takes her to the BWB to revive her......wishfull thinking but we need a LSH...........at least we will get Arya giving walter frey the death pie

It feels like she'll get it because people love badass Arya and not because LSH made for a more horrifying story. I think I would accept Arya getting the revenge more if D&D would've said at the end of S4 that they did not want to do LSH at all, and not trolled LSH fans so much.

Whyyyyy GoT gotta be so predictable. I'm really really mad about Rickon why isn't the red woman trying to heal him?? and the giant, he's a valuable asset. Yeah, they can't just keep killing characters and bringing them back, but they shoulda thought of that before they decided to introduce resurrection into that world. So lame, Rickon was the best Stark.

m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_577e44cfe4b0344d514e03ba“Game of Thrones” normally kicks off its new seasons sometime in March or April. However, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss just looked into the flames, and they’re predicting it’s going to be later next year. And it’s all winter’s fault. While talking with UFC Unfiltered, the showrunners explained: “We’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season, ‘Winter is here’ ― and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes any more so we kind of pushed everything down the line so we can get some grim, grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot

That character being Quaithe, the strange masked female shadowbinder from the second season in Qarth, who helped Jorah in his search to find Dany and her dragons, and was at one point, seen to be treating a man heading for Old Valyria, where he would need protection from greyscale. Check out the theory below (via Reddit): There is only ONE person in the entire series who has mentioned/hinted/showed they know about ANYTHING regarding the treatment/provention of Greyscale. This person is actually treating someone who is about to travel past Old Valyria where Stone Men and Greyscale thrive. This person is speaking with Jorah during this scene. I think those two meeting will be the Catalyst to Jon and Dany eventually meeting, and they'll be in Old Town when Euron presumably invades it.

Your theory makes much more sense to me about Sam, with his love of history avd vast knowledge from studying on his own at Castle Black and Oldtown, being the catalyst for all these events and bringing together Dany and Jon.

Spoiler news! dark sister, poisonivy and others may already know, but I did not. Back in April, actor Iain Glen himself was still keeping the mystery going by saying he knew that filming would be starting later: “fingers crossed I’m still alive.” But one Game of Thrones fan says that Glen and Gwendoline Christie were on her flight to Belfast Monday—and, once again according to the fan, they were reading scripts for Season 7. link

"...(That last part might be an exaggeration.) The casting call specifically says: Young Lord in his late 20’s. He’s a tall, handsome young lord, and the show is looking for a white actor who uses the RP accent. He’s scheduled to shoot in the week commencing September 20th. The age, body type and handsomeness seem to fit Rhaegar’s description. (He’s also described in the book as “beautiful,” so that probably means the audience is in for some serious eye candy.) Watchers on the Wall reports the RP accent, or “Received Pronunciation” ― also referred to as “The Queen’s English” ― is the English accent often used around King’s Landing in “Game of Thrones.” That fits Rhaegar, too..." Oh , i do to. cause i have thought for a long time Robert raped Lyanna in a drunken stupor. And Rhaegar [from what i have seen , was a man of honor and intregety] till this point. saves her from taken her life and after whisking her to the TOJ . but for this to work , lyanna had to lie to edard or he surely would have avenged lyanna and killed robert. lol
