I have a few confessions *ahem*
1). I confess that would like to take Scott Gimple's job and write better than that potato.
2). I confess that I kind of have this weird motherly feeling for TWD core characters and tear up at the thought of them getting hurt or dying (dork alert)
3). I confess that I listen to "Carl Poppa" from Bad lip reading whenever I get in the car and yes actually jam out while whomever else might be in the car with me look like they would like to push me out of the moving vehicle.
4). I lastly confess I deserve to get Lucille'd for confessions 2 and 3 lol

I confess I give anyone the sideeye who praises the writing on this show. I'm not talking about specific episodes, but when someone praises the writing of the show as a whole.

I confess TWD stirs up a lot of passion other shows would love to have.

I confess that I roll my eyes whenever I see someone say that they're done with the show. Most people don't announce when they're done with a show. They usually just give up on it without saying anything.
I gave up on Family Guy two years ago and never said a word.

I confess season 2 is my favourite season and season 6 is the worst season 6 ever.

I confess I want the finale to crash and burn ratings wise to make Gimple sweat. I want Kirkman and Gimple to lose a little of that smugness, that I am in the clique and you are not attitude, and get called into the principal's office to talk about their lack of "progress". I want them to explain why they decided that they used up so much screen time on story lines that died on the vine, why they do stupid cliffhangers, and why are the ratings dropping? I want them to have flop sweat pouring into their eyes as they explain all the stupid and unpopular things that they did this year. (and last year). I want the internet to crash tomorrow night mocking the episode. Why? Because I want to love TWD again. ^^ This. I confess I didn't know what TPTB was until tonight

I confess that I actually enjoyed the finale Admittedly, I did watch S6 in a marathon, which I think made it better as there was not such a break between episodes.

Kieran, while we are going there, I will add I actually liked season 6 overall. I have felt a bit ashamed of that of late lol. I am on the long list of those who did not like the cliffhanger finale and can understand how that "ruined" it for a lot of people(really killed the momentum of the whole season I thought and not well thought out as filming spoilers will give it away(, but to me it was just a very poor decision at the end that doesn't take away from season 6. Everything certainly wasn't perfect(by a long shot, Glenn's fake out death on the top of that list), but I would tell you it was the only show I watched that I looked forward to seeing every week most weeks. Sure there are issues with the writing(as there always have been lets be honest), but overall, I very much enjoyed this season.

The Walking Dead is more enjoyable when you watch it all in a marathon. That's how I got hooked. I watched the first season on Netflix and then couldn't wait to watch season two. I loved season two (all about the people/ not so obsesses with special effects). I have never watched season three on a marathon or Netflix. Awful season. I think TWD is so strung out when you watch it live that you lose the emotional highs and lows. Waiting seven months or so to find out who gets the bat is an example.

I confess i liked the finale. I didn't think it was padded and bloated and I liked the RV scenes. There were a few things that made me roll my eyes (walkers on a chain...Carol getting so far ahead of Morgan). Initially I was disappointed about the cliffhanger, but I am enjoying the theories and thoughts to back them up. I also confess I did not watch the head bashing any of the times I have watched it and don't know if I will. But I wonder if they will be able to recapture that intensity again in the premiere.

1. I confess I was riveted during the Finale. I believe it was well set up to show Rick and TM's slow realization that Negan's forces and abilities are much larger/organized than they envisioned. I'm thinking back to the meeting with Gregory and Jesus about the Saviors. Either the two of them didn't know the extent or they failed in making TF understand.
2. I confess I don't know how I would have felt about the cliffhanger if I didn't know in advance it was 99.99999999% confirmed to end that way. TBH the cliffhanger was well played AFAIAC. I know Gimple is taking the blame for this but I do understand the story he was telling was about Rick's descent into total fear of this formidable foe. I'm looking forward to Season 7.
3. I confess I am ignoring the clickbait articles, drawings on toilet paper et al. It is what it is - a TV show. The cliffhanger is not making or breaking my enjoyment of the show. I confess I am 'in' for the long haul no matter where it takes me.

I confess I am eager to learn who shows up in Georgia and who does not. I am not one of those people who open gifts early lol, but I am at the point of having thought cliffhanger since October so I want to know. Mourn the character and not be held in a sort of weird emotional limbo for the next six months. Just as I did Hershel back in season 4.

If Shiva is in the show, I hope she ends up being a lion or an orange house cat.
If she's a house cat, Ezekiel should say something along the lines of "she may be small, but she has the spirit of a tiger."

Another confession I need to get off my chest...
1). I confess that while it's true I've had a celeb crush on Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun and Andrew Lincoln since the beginning...
2). I find myself oddly attracted to Michael Cudlitz lol Not as Abraham although I love the character now as opposed to the beginning but I'm just saying if someone were to clone Michael in my neighborhood and I became single, I wouldn't be mad at it.

I confess that I'm actually positive feelings about Carol going to the Kingdom and that I loved Morgan in the finale. I am so happy that he killed the savior to save Carol but he's still a little loopy because he shot hte guy like five or six times. I am worried about Scott G. saying that Carol wants to be alone and how will that play out? I hope that he got the message that we don't need Carol's rehabilitation to last another three seasons. My biggest confession that I can't believe that Negan wouldn't take a look at that lot and kill at least half of them. And take the women right then. He's just going to let them go? Who would do that?

booksrbetter I confess that gimple has pretty much been saying the opposite of what actually happens so I'm taking his saying that carol wants to be alone as a good sign for her. I confess that while I think it would make sense for Carol to want to be alone I wouldn't be interested in that as a storyline in the slightest and hope it doesn't happen. I confess the issue with the finale isn't that it was a cliffhanger but what the cliffhanger itself was. We'll wait 7 months for something that will take 20 seconds to reveal. IMO a better cliffhanger would have been "what next" based on who died. there are many things to consider when we know who was killed, which would have all been interesting speculation. Instead we only have one question to ponder. I confess I fast forwarded most of Daryl dixons scenes this past season.

I guess I'm confessing that no matter how much this show pisses me off and continues to disappoint me with half-assed plots and somewhat character assassination, I'll still watch it because I need to see what happens to my faves. I need to hold out for Caryl. Even if it takes 50 more seasons to get there lol

Ditto to everything you've said, especially how "what next" should have been the cliffhanger. On a slightly different note, some are speculating that the premiere will flashback to the last hours of the victim's life. Of course, this only works if the victim is one of the following: Daryl, Glenn, Michonne, or Rosita. For the sake of argument. let's say this theory is true. Showing who died in the finale would make the flashback even more poignant and heartbreaking. Like Rick, did the victim think they would all triumph in the end? Were they scared from start to finish? Did they speak of loved ones, regrets, missed opportunities? Seeing who died in the finale would ruin us. We'd then have 6 months to recover only to then be fabulously ruined all over again when we live his/her last day on earth. This is groundbreaking tv, not the crap Gimple fed us on Sunday.

I confess I feel alone in my Morgan hate. Saving Carol was the LEAST he could do after being the catalyst for her descent.

Ugh, that sounds heartbreaking. And really far more interesting than what I'm expecting though. I suppose this is certainly still possible....I'm trying to think of what the premier could do to maintain the tension of the final moments of the finale while not dragging anything out. I feel like the most obvious thing is for the show to open with the reveal and then...42 minutes of crying? The group picking up the body and hitting the road again? I don't know....

I confess I shipped Andrea and Michonne and I think they had more chemistry together than Andrea with Shane / Gov - Michonne with Rick. I also thought they had a relationship + Starlight and agree the actors had fantastic chemistry. I was hoping we would get to see that relationship on screen but the writers opted to send Andrea to Woodbury in s 3 instead. Andrea was originally supposed to end up back at the prison and have a relationship with Rick in Alexandria, but the decision to kill off Andrea in 3.16 changed all of that and led to 'Clear' in which Michonne, Rick and Carl started getting to know each other. I confess I am already sick to death of nonsensical Internet clickbait "articles" trotting out ridiculous theories around who got Lucille'd in order to get web site traffic. Going to be a loooooonnnggg hiatus.

I confess I ate an egg white spinach sandwich for breakfast for the first time in years (I hate eggs, dude why are we humans eating slimy stuff that would've developed into a chicken? Why man why?) and now I'm feeling absolutely disgusted with myself
I also confess that last confession doesn't make any sense and is quite hypocritical considering I still eat meat
(I think I need a chicken to peck at my head for my lame confessions)
