Ok - Totally prejudiced here, but Audible has released an audio version of Dawn of the Dead. It's narrated by my friend, Jonathan Davis, who I met at the Georgia Shakespeare Festival many moons ago. Jonathan has become well known in the Star Wars world for his narration. www.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fantasy/Dawn-of-the-Dead-Audiobook/B0147TLOZ4/ref=a_search_c4_1_1_srTtl?qid=1444068572&sr=1-1"George A. Romero's Living Dead films, aside from single-handedly inventing the Zombie genre and prompting the undead craze we have today, were earth-shattering for me. Not only did I enjoy the post-apocalyptic, survival aspect of a civilization gone completely to hell, but I loved how it commented on deeper societal issues and revealed how humans could be just as cruel and destructive as flesh-eating monsters. Dawn of the Dead is no exception. And here, stripped down and narrated by the amazing Jonathan Davis, Romero's gripping story, much like the undead, comes alive yet again." -- Doug, Audible Editor" It sounds like a fun listen. You can listen to a sample at the link above. We're starting to get more audio books to listen to during our travels. It's a nice change of pace from listening to the radio or music.
