So I couldn't find any articles about this upcoming movie, but Kyla Kenedy (Mika) is set to play Emily Curtis in Love is All You Need? An indie film based on the award-winning short film of the same name. The film's premise is a world switched, in which heterosexuality is seen as vulgar and disgusting, and homosexuality is the norm. The film also stars Kellan Lutz and Emily Osment.
Personally, I'm pretty excited about this and thrilled for Kyla. I loved the short film and this movie has the capacity to become something really buzzworthy and garner lots of attention (or controversy), which would be awesome and well-deserved for KK!
Here is the short film that the movie is going to be based on (warning: lots of graphic depictions of bullying and suicide):
And here is the trailer for the full-length movie:

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing it with us blackjackandcoke88 . Kyla has a lot of talent at her age; I think it is great news that she gets projects like this one instead of the more boring mainstream kid roles. She can handle it, I'm confident.

You're welcome, Ripley! It looks like it's going to be an interesting movie with a fascinating concept, but the thought of watching her play a character that gets bullied to a horrifying level makes me want to cry already, lol. I think she's going to kill it, she's so talented for someone so young!
