"“Prison Break” is officially returning to TV with an event series on Fox. Original stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will reprise their roles as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, though no premiere date has been set... Based on the 2005 series, which ran four seasons, the original producing team Paul T. Scheuring, Neal Moritz, Marty Adelstein and Dawn Olmstead will return as exec producers with Scheuring writing and serving as showrunner. No plot details have been released at this point, but last summer at TCA, Walden and Newman spoke of plans for the revival with Walden calling it a “bit of a sequel.” She also said it “picks up a few years after” the original series finale and “addresses questions that were set up during the series,” adding that there is a “logical and believable explanation in the world of ‘Prison Break’” for how the story will continue. Both Miller and Purcell also star in The CW’s midseason superhero series “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” which debuts Jan. 21. Possibly airing 2016-2017 Television season. Crossing my fingers this isn't BS and never happens. Miller and Purcell are both involved in CW7's DC's Legends of Tomorrow and SWC is involved in Colony which was renewed.

Anyone else watching Prison Break?
I'm enjoying it. Some parts are a bit lame but that's OK, I just overlook it.
Tonight's episode shifted a bit - seemed like Lincoln was making the best decisions.
Time has flown since this 10-episode series began - only 4 left.
Robert Knepper (T-Bag) still kills it.

Time has flown since this 10-episode series began - only 4 left. Robert Knepper (T-Bag) still kills it. I love watching Robert Knepper act - in anything! And seeing SWC again is wonderful!  |

He is so good! I've seen him play his 'role' in Criminal Minds among other gigs. He would have made a good Simon IMO (although I think Ogg is great) or Gregory. No one can do "oily" quite like him. In the made for DVD movie "The Final Break" he actually did a good thing. SWC is always good. If there is not going to be a 2nd Series Event, I hope they are written together in the finale. They've been through a lot over the life of the series. Wentworth Miller looks good even with the tinges of gray in his cropped hair. |

Season Finale tonight.
This event series was enjoyable. Perhaps FOX will green will green light another such series down the road. I'd watch yet another Season.
