Video from Variety Contenders- great info on season 2 and very articulate interview. He also talks about meeting Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg during The Pacific
"... we might delve into different periods in Elliott's life... "Just tell me if things are too hard for you and I will pull back...(Sam Esmail to Rami Malek)" link

Me too spectre! Mr Robot has so many great observations on modern society that it fascinates me even before the terrific performances and storylines. Dubbing in Ashley Madison for the finale, right after the actual hack occurred, was brilliant and for STD members, DDOS attacks (as were being made on E Corp) were what put STD offline in the summer of 2014. The DDOS attacks were the level needed to take down eBay or Amazon.com in fact. I think the lesser-known cast, such as Portia Doubleday and Martin Wallstrom have incredible talent. I read a great Slate article yesterday about Mental illness portrayals on TV with Elliott's unspecified syndrome listed as an axample. With this video, I am wondering how much more we will learn in S 2. I'd like to know why his mother has been absent from a lot of his "memories" beyond the one scene we saw, and what the huge trauma was which led to his fugue states, mental blocks (forgetting Darlene) and also wound up with his needing court-ordered counseling. His illness doesn't fit most major ones by symptoms such as schizophrenia for example. Here is the article from Slate in case anyone is curious : 2015 - Mental Illness Finally Got Respect on TV

I think the most intense part was the reveal of his girlfriend being dead. That whole sequence was crazy.
I'm more interested to see how far they are going to push society falling apart because of what they did. You can see it starting to crumble in the background and it wouldn't take more than 3 days to really get going.
