I think you should celebrate the news big time urdeadtome ! And with your husband too. For those who love the show and there are many, this is fantastic news. I know 6-7 fandom couples who adore the show and wouldn't miss and episode first run- they simply don;t belong to fan forums. 8-)
I wish they had visited Wheels Through Time, in Maggie Valley, during the Asheville-centric episode- have you heard of it? It is a world-famous museum of significant bikes and vehicles. I had assumed they would visit when here, but perhaps since they hit a few of those in season 1, they chose to skip it. That is fine of course but I thought would have been great to see on the show.
"Wheels Though Time Museum is the home to the worlds premier collection of rare American motorcycles, memorabilia and a distinct array of unique “one off” American automobiles. Located just 5 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Maggie Valley, North Carolina the museum houses a collection of over 350 rare machines."

Since they weather and time constraints from hiatus to factor into filming, I'm curious if you think the JDM and NR recent filming break trip to Nashville & Alabama might end up on the show. We know Norman has said he (JDM) would be on it.
I am thinking they might hit Dallas/Houston, do some Route 66 stuff in Arizona, or maybe the wilds of New Mexico, Colorado, Grand Canyon maybe or somewhere below the frost/snowbelt. Or Utah, I could see a trip around the canyon stuff, and what about Sturgis?
I admit I'd watch most of the cast doing their favorite things- Cudlitz advising on single malts and cigars, Christian Serratos taking us through her favorite parts of Disneyland, a weekend spent with Josh McDermitt etc. Maybe Alanna Masterson taking viewers on a tour of the High Museum.
Enjoy the renewal and celebrate knowing another six episodes are coming in 2017!
