Sorry not sorry, Sexual Chocolate - TEP made me roll my eyes harder than that horse in the Dutch promo for season 4 for TWD. I'll see myself out after this last comment- in Out of Africa, I found Karin's interactions with the locals "This water lives in Mombasa", much more interesting than her interactions with Robert Redford! (ducks flying debris, sneaks out ninja style)

Halloween 3 season of the witch was bad and had zero to do with Micheal Myers.

The Salvation - it had a great cast in Mads Mikkelson, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Evan Green, but it was fucking awful.

how could I omit the Twilight from this thread? Granted I havent seen all of them, but a good friend is a fan, and lets just say Ive gotten in a lot of trouble for laughing in the theater.
I feel like if the Mystery Science Theater 3000 reboot does indeed happen one of the twilight movies will make the cut for 90+ minutes of merciless mocking for the acting, writing and editing.
The plus side to twilight is that it introduced me to honest trailers, which I hadnt heard of until I came across the twilight one.

50 shades of grey...my friend made me watch this shit and it was beyond awful. It wasn't a romantic tale it was a tale of control and abuse. And I can't believe it got a freaking sequel.

Meggo358 Yaasss Twilight. The only one I've seen in full is the first one, and omg it was so bad. That story alone makes good actors and directors worse. I'd love a Mystery Science Theater reboot. I love reading books about bad movies too. Show Girls, Teen Wolves, and Astro Zombies by Michael Adams is great. Your Movie Sucks by Roger Ebert is too.

The boy next door starring Jennifer Lopez and her other movie Enough both highlight how bad actress she is.
San Andrea's starring Dwanye Johnson / The Rock liked the special effects, but everything every was so Blah the acting, the clinches, and the story.

The Rocky movies I can't stand sylvester Stallone. Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension Hunger games watched the first one and that was enough.

can I just say I hated every dramatic chick flick type movie? tep, piano, out of africa, officer and a gentlemen, titanic, anything that has leo, cruise, and I LOATHE anything with George Clooney, most of travlota's movies... I think its a genere thing for me. I just don't do those kinds of movies. 2012 had a chance to be everything I would normally love in a movie but the over inflated scenes in a couple areas killed it for me. I could cut 30 minutes ( and I even know exactly where to cut!) and would have made a much better movie. I'm one of the few I guess that Loves M knights movie Signs, unbreakable and the village. Hated 6th sense and wasn't impressed with lady in the water.

I have a family member by marriage who loves Twilight, 50 Shades and all the films which make me shudder in panic.

*Raises hand slowly*..... I might be the only person on the planet who enjoyed Prometheus, and I've watched it several times. Maybe it's because I had no expectations about it and nothing to disappoint me? 8-)
I can't say the same for Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses. It literally put me to sleep and to this day I have no idea what it's about.
George Romero disappointed me with Survival of the Dead and Diary of the Dead. I expected more from the zombie master himself.
A favorite movie because it was so bad it was good is, Plan 9 From Outer Space by director Ed Wood. It was Bela Lugosi's final film and he died during filming, which the director tried and failed to cover up. It is a classic 'bad' movie!

Halloween 3 season of the witch was bad and had zero to do with Micheal Myers. LOLOL, wasn't that the one where a corporation was trying to kill all children on Halloween, with those pumpkin head masks? Their creepy theme music hypnotized everyone, or something like that?

I will raise my hand with you, I really liked Prometheus too And I agree about Romero's later Zombie movies, I wasn't a huge fan of his Land of the Dead either.

I don't watch anything with George Clooney or Jennifer Aniston, either. My hate for Clooney is so strong, I can't stand when his episode shows up on The Golden Girls. I've never liked him.

Hmmmm
The batmans between Keaton and Bale. The newer Alien/Predator films. Johnny Depp's attempts at comedy since the 3rd Pirates. Michael Myers post Austin Powers. Adam Sandler post Waterboy. Birdman Clockwork Orange Pretty much any film based on a video game. Natural disaster films, except for maybe that volcano movie with Pierce Brosnan. Cause it's Pierce Brosnan.

Being Canadian, I have to bring up Anne of Green Gables -- specifically the "should never have made it to air" third installment. I waited years for another sequel, but I'd have happily waited many more if patience yielded something other than a time warp mess that had nothing to do with the original work and left me (1) hating the random dude who was all over the story... for some reason, (2) not entirely loving Anne, and (3) wondering what Jonathan Crombie had done that Gil got so little screen time.
In general, I just pretend the Anne movies ended with the 2nd installment and that all the stuff from the books that never made it to the screen happened thereafter... all while cursing Kevin Sullivan's name. (Apparently there's a 4th installment, with different actors, I haven't even seen. I'm okay with that.)

I tried to figure out how to answer this question but I realized I never actually watch an entire film if it doesn't grab me in the first ten minutes or so. My netflix list is filled with movies I didn't finish watching. I started watching one last night titled "Map to the Stars" (I think) starring Julianne Moore and dumped it after about 10 minutes. She's so good she can usually elevate a film but not this time.

Just saw a new favorite to hate this morning on FX, "The Gambler" with Mark Wahlburg?! I don't know if anyone has seen it but that movie wasted 2 1/2 hrs of my life I can't get back today and I'm pissed! My husband started watching it and then I got involved and he was determined to finish it after the two hour mark! I never give Mark Wahlburg much credit in terms of acting (because he never deserves it!) but this movie wasted the talents of three really great actors in the process of this disaster: John Goodman, Jessica Lange and Brie Larson?! Why? Really disappointing!
