I confess that it always stuns me that Glenn doesn't have more fan girls.

I confess seeing Glenn and Maggie raising their baby would improve the show's ratings and audience interest 10 times more than killing Glenn off would.

I confess, in the ZA, I'd like to be on Glenn's team and that I think he'd be a terrific friend or brother to have. I also confess, I wish TV Maggie were Glenn's peer, but I do not feel she is or has been since maybe season 4.

I confess Glenn was my first favorite character that just stood out to me. I also confess that while I thought SY was a little "rough around the edges" acting wise in the first season or two, I feel like he is the most under rated actor on the show right now. He has been incredible and will be missed both as a character and an actor.

I confess that I find the current Glenn a little dull, a little too good, and somewhat a bit of a Mary Sue. I also confess that I've always loved the snarky Glenn that first graced our television sets. Glenn's struggle to accept that he couldn't protect Maggie from the Governor was not always noble but honest. I also loved that he took down a walker while tied to a chair. Glenn shouldn't be another victim of Comic Replication. He deserves more screen time and a story line in which he does more than be the Moral Authorityof hte group.

I confess I adore (platonically) and feel so angry over how the character has been pushed into the background since season 4 IMO.
If the rumored means to his death is indeed a Daryl outburst, I am going to find it impossible to ever like Daryl again frankly- Glenn deserves a better death than being the unlucky victim of yet another Daryl man-pain outburst of stupidity in which he impulsively does something which hurts or puts another character in jeopardy. There, I said it- hahaha
Glenn deserves a chance to go out heroic, sacrificing himself for Maggie and their baby although I confess I'd prefer he be alive and would cheerfully throw other character under the bus to spare him lol.

I confess I totally agree with you. I hold a lot of anger at Daryl for getting them in that situation. Sure they could have been taken while getting Maggie to hilltop but Daryl throwing a tantrum was kind of the final nail in the coffin for any Daryl love I had. I also confess ( and Ripley knows this) Glenn has been one of my favorites since the first season and quickly became my favorite Male character. I also confess I love Gleggie . I confess there have been many times that Glenn almost brought me to tears. Finally, I confess the only time I ever had any sort of problem with Glenn was when he made Maggie's attack by the gov about him and not her.

I confess it's sad that Glenn big talking moment / arc in season 6 was the GOT's rip of dumpergate.
I confess I really wanted Glenn and Maggie to lead Hilltop together.
I confess Steven Yeun doesn't get enough credit on the show. He is a better actor than some of the other actors.but he gets overlooked all the time.

This is more a confession about SY than GR but, as a fan, I'm proud that he's never phoned in a performance. Even with all of the show's inconsistent writing, and how often his character has been relegated to the B-team, his acting is never lazy. He obviously takes pride in his work.

I confess it is so damn hard to accept that Glenn Rhee is just another MOC character with a terrible end on this show. Yes , he isn't alone and a white man dies too, but his fate brings home how characters of color, usually men, have terrible, pointless deaths much more often than white male counterparts on this show. Since season 3 when viewers started memeing the pattern. AMC has put out articles and gotten Danai Gurira to defend the practice, but it is clear. I think Glenn and Steven Yeun deserved better than this as a way to go out. I would rather Glenn have simply died in Dumpstergate, with his fate unknown to Maggie and Team Family, thank end up in this way in 7.01. We haven't yet seen a TeamFamily death where the others never knew what happened and the person was truly "gone" forever. it would have been a new, interesting milestone and built out further what development Maggie had worrying, frantic, then realizing she could not endanger her child by continuing to search for Glenn. I think someone simply never coming home would be a common ZA occurrence, and for the audience to know that fate, it would satisfy the needs of viewers. Glenn was the first person Rick met after Morgan and Duane; had he not intervened when Rick was in the tank, Rick would never have found Lori and Carl. I'll see myself out now.

I confess that I'd give up many characters to keep Glenn. I confess that my definition of "many" is all but three other characters. All the rest of them can go to keep Glenn.
